AUA has established a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to meet the individual needs of its members. The purpose of these groups is to facilitate an exchange of information between individuals with a shared interest in either a functional or knowledge area.
Each SIG has a clearly stated purpose and uses appropriate delivery methods to share information. These include:
- Password-protected website and jiscmail lists
- Good Practice Guides
- Conference sessions/tracks
- Seminars/short conferences
- perspectives and newslink articles
To subscribe to a SIG, you must be a member of AUA.
Helen Matthews, UCL, is the Special Interest Group Co-ordinator. Contact Helen if you would like more information about SIGs, or have suggestions for new SIGs or SIG activities.
