Event Information

The Managing Change in HE (MCHE) themed network is hosting its fifth Annual Open Forum for those AUA members (and non members) interested in improving practice on managing change in higher education. There will be an opportunity to share good and bad practice, network and consider how to work more collaboratively.

The event will be opened with a plenary provided by the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of London Metropolitan University, Professor Malcolm Gillies:

"Managing Change: Learning from Mistakes, or Not?"

As with previous Open Forums the programme has been designed to improve professional practice in the sector and provide an opportunity for colleagues to learn from practice. This year there will be two strands to the Open Forum: how to support colleagues who are challenged with leading and implementing change projects all year round; and dealing with the human impact of change. The learning will be captured and disseminated via the network website.

The event will finish with a plenary delivered by Professor Colin Coulson-Thomas, Professor in Human Resources & Organisational Behaviour, University of Greenwich:

"Achieving Successful Corporate Transformation"
