Celia Whitchurch has served on all the committees of AUA and its predecessor CUA. She was founding Editor-in-Chief of perspectives: policy and practice in higher education, now Associate Editor, and has published widely on higher education management. She is currently completing a PhD on the changing professional identities of administrators and managers in UK higher education, and also a project for the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education on the emergence of increasingly hybrid roles, and the development needs associated with these.
