AUA Board of Trustees
Trustees have, and must accept, ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of the charity, ensuring that it is solvent and well-run, and delivering the charitable outcomes for the benefit of the public for which it was set up. The Board of Trustees comprises 13 Trustees, is supported by the Executive Director and AUA National Office, and is ultimately responsible for leading and executing the overall vision and direction adopted by the Association at its general meetings.
Attendance is required at Board Meetings held at the AUA National Office, in Manchester, three times per year, usually in February, June and October. Member attendance is expected at the informal Board meetings held at our Annual Conference and Annual Lecture and two or three key events open to our membership.
