A new senior level role has been created to lead the critical area of Student Services within a shared services environment, providing vision, overseeing business systems development and coordinating all of Victoria University’s student administration services. The portfolio includes responsibility for admissions and scholarships, enrolments and fees, assessments and completions, student contact, Student Service Centres, innovation and training and government reporting and systems support. The Registrar and Executive Director Student Services will lead a team of over 100 staff and will provide a significant contribution to the leadership and strategic direction of the University.
The successful candidate will have: extensive senior management experience in a complex service delivery organisation, preferably in the higher education sector; exceptional transformational leadership skills with demonstrated capability to lead integrated, collaborative and innovative services; experience in selecting, adapting and utilising technology to improve service delivery; outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; a comprehensive knowledge, understanding and practical application of legislative and regulatory frameworks for tertiary education; experience in developing and revising policies, procedures and quality assurance.
